Exceptional Full Day Tour

An exceptional full day trip led by Antonio. He planned many interesting extra stops for us throughout the day like the lighthouse compound. We stopped at an amazing fruit stand with the biggest ripest strawberries, ever. He knew all kinds of historical facts which he shared constantly. He talked just the right amount of time. Not too much. The bus was comfortable and clean with huge windows for easy viewing. Sit on the right side for best views of the spectacular coast. I heartily recommend this tour to all.

antonio is the perfect tour guide. as a new transplant to the city, i have always been curious about monterey and carmel: this tour gave an excellent introduction of both with several pleasant surprises along the way. the only thing that would make this tour perfect would be a stop at the iconic bixby creek bridge. that’s the only thing i knew about monterey (from big little lies) and the one thing we did not see.

Monterey Bay

Great tour guide, beautiful areas visited; stop in Monterey should have been longer to allow more time at the Aquarium which WAS offered as an option but unfortunate no longer as a discounted add-on to the excursion- had to rush through that leaving very little time to see anything else in Monterey but glad I took that in. Tip- pick up area brochures before getting on the bus, can make much better use of time.

Magical views!

We had an amazing day on this tour. Dug (our guide and diver) was absolutely the best! Tip: sit on the right hand side (facing the travel direction) - this way the coast and all views will be much closer to you. We went on a week day in March, about 25 people on the bus, so it felt very uncrowded. Many beautiful stops and it feels that we saw so much. If you do not want to drive yourself - just take this tour to get the first taste / glimpse. It made me want to spend more time in this area :).
