Giethoorn and Zaanse Schans Windmills Daytrip from Amsterdam

Saïd was a very good guide and driver. Thanks to him, we spent a nice day despite the corona virus. We were only two people so it was fantastic.

Our guide Mr Ibrahim was the most courteous and friendly guide. Very knowledgeable during the tour explain all the history and future of Amsterdam! Trustworthy indeed!

This excursion was everything we had hoped for. Ibrahim was over the top professional, gave us more than we paid for and did it with style and fun. We took this excursion because we had one day and we are so glad we did. Ibrahim took us to sample what Holland had to offer. We enjoyed the shoe factory, the cheese factory and seeing the windmills and the lovely houses. We recommend this excursion company and especially ask for Ibrahim. Knowledgeable and fun all in one person.

Ibrahim was our assigned tour guide for the trip. He was very helpful and knowlegeable and also very considerate to our needs. He was always thinking a step or two ahead and hence we managed to avoid the big crowds that came after us to the attractions. Oh yes, he was a very good photographer too, capturing every happy moment of us.

We were lucky that we got to be the only participants in this tour. Yair was our guide and he made us feel so special and provided us with a lot of information about the Netherlands. It was very informative and made the long drive go by quickly. We went early to Zaanse schans to beat the crowd and it gave us an opportunity to take lots of pictures before it got busy. We got to see a demonstration of how clogs are made and visited a cheese store. Giethoorn is a very romantic and quiet little town not much was open that day but we got to take the cruise and have an amazing italian meal. We couldnt have asked for a more perfect day. The driver/guide has a sense of humour and he gave us a lot of informations about Amsterdam and the villages.

We have a lovely day trip to these two villages. Our guide Ibrahim ( I think that was his name) was very informative & was very knowledgeable during this trip. A visit to the cloggs & cheese factory was very very nice. Worth visiting

This was my first time in Amsterdam, and it was a short time before getting on a cruise, so I wanted to make the best of my time and experience as much as possible. I have been wanting to visit Giethoorn for quite some time now, but most of the tours were just about the entire day, leaving me only the night time to explore. I wanted to do more with that day than just one attraction...then I came across this Perfect Duo of a tour! These are 2 beauties I will definitely go visit again (just in warmer weather hehe). This was only my second time abroad, and my mother's first, a couple of newbs so of course we were skeptical and nervous. I have to say, from the moment we met at our meeting point with Said, we felt immediately at ease. He was the absolute BEST tour guide I have ever experienced. Not only immensely knowledgeable, but extremely kind, friendly and warm. We did a little shopping at Zaanse Schans at the beginning of the tour so we were going to have to carry our bag with us the entire time. Said - being the amazing man he is - offered to take it back to the van for us. But then he went a step up and held it the ENTIRE TIME! Now keep in mind...it was rainy. So what did he do with our paper bag while I was raining you may ask? STUCK IT IN HIS JACKET TO KEEP SAFE AND DRY! All while being an amazing photographer - offering to take pictures at every 'picturesque' spot - AND HE WAS GOOD! Some of my favorite shots over my entire 3 week trip to Europe were his. Now, remember I said we were newbs right? So of course we didn't expect to have to pay to use the restroom like...everywhere we went basically! LOL and we did not have the chance yet to get any coins. So what did Said do? GIVE US A EURO TO USE THE BATHROOM! Y'all...these are just a few wonderful examples of how amazing Said is. If I ever get the opportunity to go there again, Said, I am hitting you up my friend! I know we said this before, but THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! for giving us such an unforgettable experience. We will cherish that for the rest of our lives. Now to talk about the locations, I am going to keep it short and sweet...BREATHTAKING! TAKE THIS TOUR EVERYONE! You will NOT regret it!
