Andretti Winery Tours

Andretti Winery
Nestled in the heart of Napa Valley, Andretti Winery was founded by legendary race car driver Mario Andretti. The 42-acre (17-hectare) Tuscan village–style winery is an idyllic setting to sample the variety of wines produced at the vineyard, including red, white, sparkling, dessert, and port.

The Basics
Andretti Winery offers several tasting experiences. Head to the tasting room to sample products surrounded by racing photos and memorabilia, or have a glass in the charming courtyard or overlooking the scenic estate. In the barrel room try five varietals, or pair a glass of wine with small snacks or a gourmet meal. Guided tours of the estate and vineyards are also available.

The Napa Valley Wine Trolley stops at Andretti Winery. Private and small-group Napa Valley wine tours also visit the winery for tastings and usually include stops at several other wine country estates.

Things to Know Before You Go
  • Andretti Winery is family- and pet-friendly.
  • The estate is planted to pinot grigio, chardonnay, sauvignon blanc, and merlot; grapes are also sourced from elsewhere in California.
  • Andretti winery is wheelchair-accessible.
  • Wi-Fi is available at the winery.

How to Get There
Andretti Winery is located in Oak Knoll, in Napa Valley, about 10 miles (16 kilometers) north of the town of Napa and about 50 miles (80 kilometers) north of San Francisco. It’s easiest to visit as part of a guided tour, or to take the Napa Valley Wine Trolley.

When to Get There
The winery is open daily from 10:30am to 5pm, except for major public holidays. Special events are held from time to time, including tasting dinners and wine-and-food pairings. A popular event is the annual “Chairman’s Summer Festivo,” typically held in late July.

Andretti Winery Labels
Andretti Winery offers wine under three distinct labels: the Napa Valley Series (well-known crowd pleasers that are approachable and food-friendly), the Villa Andretti label (made from grapes from small Napa vineyards), and the Montona Reserve (premium, hand-selected vintages, such as cabernet sauvignon, chardonnay, and super Tuscan blends).
